It’s been while since I did a cocktail post, but this tantalising tipple most definitely deserves it’s chance to shine!
I was recently at Gin Festival London, where I met John who is a Brand Ambassador for Brockmans Gin. We got chatting, well, as much as you can do when surrounded by hundreds of thirsty gin fans vying for gin samples, and he told me of a rather delicious sounding cocktail. The Brockmans Cosmopolitan. Once things had calmed down a wee bit John told me lots more about Brockmans Gin itself, but I’m saving that for another article, watch this space.
Already being a fan of Brockmans smooth and fruity berry flavours, I was really keen to give this cocktail a go, and I must say, I was not disappointed…in fact, I drank several to reward myself for destroying prepping the bathroom for redecoration, whilst watching the Calcutta Cup on Saturday afternoon.
What you need:
- 35ml Brockmans Gin
- 15ml Triple Sec
- 20ml Cranberry Juice
- 10ml Fresh Lime Juice
What to do:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
- Add all the ingredients to the shaker
- Shake it!
- Pour into a Martini glass
- Drink and enjoy!
The berry flavour of the Brockmans works perfectly as an alternative to vodka in this cocktail and it is definitely worth a try!
Let me know how you get on, happy cocktail times!
