Gin Journey · Holiday Gin Days

Gin in the Sun

Well I tell you what, I have no idea how on Earth I have time to work?!  After a rather epic week of blogging I’m ready for a proper holiday.  At silly o’clock yesterday morning we headed off on our holibobs and are currently sunning ourselves in a little slice of paradise.  Really sorry if it seems like I’m gloating, but I have been looking forward to this break for SO long!

On Friday, @glasgowgingirl captioned one of her Instagram picture with this…

“My favourite Gin – those enjoyed with friends”

…and there couldn’t be a truer statement.  So, that is exactly what I’m going to be doing for the next two weeks.  Laying in the sun and sharing a few gins with one of my bestest ones, and our Hubbies of course.  Even if she served me the cheapest gin, with the cheapest tonic (which, might I add…she wouldn’t,) I kind of wouldn’t care, because we would be enjoying them together, with the biggest smiles, the best gossip and the loudest laughs.  Plus we’re in the sun, and everyone is always happier when the sun is shining.

This holiday my goal is to finish Gin Glorious Gin by Olivia Williams, whilst lying in the sun and drinking lots of gin doing some serious Gin research.  I’ll let you know how I get on with both the book and the research…hiccup!

I hope you all have the best summer breaks, and don’t forget to enjoy the best type of gin…that one you have with your friends.
